Application of Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA)
In agriculture, IBA is widely used as a plant growth regulator, particularly as a rooting agent. It promotes the growth of roots in both herbaceous and woody ornamental plants, enhancing the percentage of rooting in cuttings. It is commonly used for dip rooting of woody and herbaceous plants, accelerating root growth and improving plant survival rates. IBA can also be used for soaking and mixing plant seeds to increase germination rates and survival rates.
Moreover, Indole-3-butyric acid,IBA is known for its ability to remain effective for an extended period after application, forming numerous fine and elongated adventitious roots. When used in combination with other growth regulators such as naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), it can often produce even better results.
