Chitosan Oligosaccharide (COS), also known as chitooligosaccharide or chitosan oligosaccharides, is a low molecular weight product derived from the degradation of chitosan, which is the deacetylated product of chitin.

The polymerization degree of COS typically ranges from 2 to 10, making it a valuable compound in various applications.
